The Starborn Pro Plug® System for Fiberon Decking offers a seamless, hidden fastening solution for PVC and composite decks. This system ensures a secure, face-fastened connection using precision-cut plugs crafted from actual Fiberon® decking material, resulting in a flawless, integrated appearance.

Installation Overview:

1. Predrilling: For composite deck boards, pre-drill a 3/16" pilot hole through the decking material only.
2. Screw Driving: Utilize the PVC/Composite Tool with the appropriate driver bit to drive the screw at high speed using a standard drill.
3. Plug Insertion: Place the plug into the hole and gently tap it with a smooth-faced hammer until it is flush with the deck surface..

For optimal results, adhere to all Fiberon decking manufacturer guidelines regarding screw spacing, edge and end distances, and gapping.

Pro Plug System

• Includes: Plugs made from actual PVC/composite decking and a driver bit.
• Screws (sold separately): Use epoxy-coated or stainless steel screws. Cap-Tor® XD screws may also be used.  See the add-ons or related products section.
• Tool (sold separately): A PVC/Composite Tool is required to set screws to the correct depth. See the add-ons or related products section.
